Kyrie Irving can't wait to join Caris LeVert on the floor again. The two former teammates are set to face each other on Wednesday as the Brooklyn Nets visit the Indiana Pacers.

It will be the first time that Irving will get to step foot on the same court again with LeVert after the latter has successfully recovered from his life-saving surgery last January.

“Honored and humbled to call him a friend, call him a brother, wish nothing but maximum healthy and success,” Kyrie Irving said of Caris LeVert, via Kristian Winfield of the NY Daily News.

Kyrie is a great teammate despite what his critics might say. His off-court rapport with both his current and former teammates has been nothing but great, and this is just another perfect example of the Nets star's affection towards his guys.

On the other hand, LeVert's road to recovery has definitely been one to watch. The 26-year-old was part of a blockbuster deal that sent former MVP James Harden to Brooklyn, and him packing his bags en route to Indiana.

As part of his move, he had to go through a medical clearance which ended up saving his life. A small mass, which ended up being a cancerous cell, was found in his left kidney which ultimately sidelined the young star. Less than two months after the surgery, LeVert finally made his debut for the Pacers, which Irving made sure to catch.

LeVert has been one of the brightest young stars in the league in his time in the NBA, and fans around the league are celebrating his return. Count Kyrie and the Nets in on the LeVert bandwagon.
