Antoine Walker recently made comments about James Harden of the Brooklyn Nets, stating that Harden's style of play isn't conducive to winning championships. To begin his media session for the All-Star game, Harden fired back at Walker, via Kristian Walker of the New York Daily News.

For years, Harden has cemented himself as one of the best players in isolation in the league. Harden dominates usage on whatever team he is playing for and he's often been the player that the offense runs through.

With Harden's ball-dominant approach to the game, Walker doesn't believe a player of Harden's nature can win a title with his style of play. Walker, who won an NBA title as a role player for the Miami Heat in 2006, is likely of the belief that having unselfish players leads to success in the league.

While there were likely years you could question Harden's ability to get teammates involved, this year isn't one of them. Ever since Harden joined the Nets via trade, they've decided to have him serve as their de facto point guard in the offense. It has resulted in Harden producing a career-best 11.4 assists per game entering All-Star weekend.

At the same time, Harden's arrival has allowed Brooklyn to earn an impressive 24-13 record thus far, which is just a half-game behind the Philadelphia 76ers for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. Even though Harden's style of play hasn't led to any titles just yet, the veteran guard is hoping to quiet the criticism with a championship this season.
