It may only be just a week, but July hosts Discovery's Shark Week on Max, according to the Warner Bros. Discovery (the streaming platform's parent company).

Not only that, we've got Kite Man: Hell Yeah debuting this month, as well as Hollywood icon Faye Dunaway's documentary. Let's delve into the inner workings of the Wild Wild Space and learn what “celestial land grab” is. You could also spend time with the New York Giants in Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants as they prepare for their milestone 100th season.

Find out what it takes to make it to the world's first-ever fully quadriplegic e-sports team in Quad Gods.

Max also hosts two highly anticipated movies: A24's Love Lies Bleeding and Michael Keaton's Knox Goes Away.

In Kite Man: Hell Yeah!, Kite Man (voiced by Matt Oberg) and Golden Glider (Stephanie Hsu) take the next step in their relationship by… opening a bar. Not just that, it's also near Lex Luthor's (the late great Lance Reddick) Legion of Doom. But a bar is like a sanctuary of sorts for villains and superheroes alike, right? Come on, it'll be an adventure, serving cold beer to a gallery of rogues right outside Arkham Asylum. After all, there's just there to quench their thirst and maybe find help hiding a body.

Joining Oberg, Hsu and Reddick are James Adomian (Bane), Natasia Demetriou (Malice), Janelle James (Queen of Fables), Jonathan Banks (Noonan), Keith David (Darkseid), Michael Imperioli (Joe/Moe Dubelz), Rory Scovel (Gus the Goon) and Judith Light (Helen Villigan).

The second season will premiere with two episodes, and then one each week, until the finale on Sept. 12.

Athletes in all shapes and forms

Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants follows the football team as they prepare for their milestone 100th season. The series will follow the Giants with GM Joe Schoen and the team's front office and staff go through the critical period between January to July: the NFL Scouting Combine, free agency, the NFL Draft and the team's minicamps.

Quad Gods follows the story of three New Yorkers who are quadriplegic. They meet at a neuro-rehabilitation facility and form “the world's first-ever, fully quadriplegic e-sports team.” They confront challenges all the while pursuing their dream of competing as athletes and subverting commonly held ideas regarding disability.

Faye is the first feature documentary of the Hollywood icon, Academy Award-winner Faye Dunaway. The film includes interviews with her son Liam Dunaway O'Neill, family, friends Sharon Stone, Mickey Rourke and James Gray. The actress talks about the ups and downs of her career from her Oscar-nominated roles in 1967's Bonnie & Clyde opposite Warren Beatty, 1974's Chinatown opposite Jack Nicholson and 1976's Network for which she won an Oscar. She also speaks about taking the role in 1981's Mommie Dearest, which she sees a career misstep.

Dunaway also talks candidly about her mental health struggles with bipolar disorder, her childhood in small town Florida and how the roles she has taken on still stays with her to this day.

Wild Wild Space follows the story of the modern-day “celestial land grab,” where companies compete to send rockets carrying satellites into low-earth orbit. The series features triumphs and setbacks, as well as the fierce competition most people aren't aware about: space in space. The show also sheds light on dark side of capitalism and what the effects may be when the skies become filled with satellites trying to control the world from above.

Critically acclaimed movies

A24's Love Lies Bleeding stars Kristen Stewart as reclusive gym manager Lou who falls in love with Jackie (Katy O'Brian), who's training to compete as a bodybuilder in Las Vegas. Their love story is drawn into violence through Lou's criminally inclined family. Directed by Rose Glass, the film also stars Jena Malone, Anna Baryshnikov, Dave Franco and Ed Harris.

Knox Goes Away stars and is directed by Academy Award nominee Michael Keaton. He plays John Knox, a hit man who's trying to make amends before his dementia takes hold of him. He's helped by a trusted friend who has his own demons to contend with and they race against authorities as well as his own deteriorating mind, in order to save his estranged son from a mistake he committed. They're also trying to “cash out” before John forgets everything.

The film also stars James Marsden, Suzy Nakamura, Joanna Kuligp, John Hoognakker and Lela Loren. They're joined by Oscar winners Ray MacKinnon, Marcia Gay Harden and Al Pacino.
