After Mac Jones and Justin Fields surprisingly slipped in the first few picks, Philly wasted no time and are trading up to get their guy.

The Heisman Trophy winner from 2020 after a terrific season at Alabama, DeVonta Smith has ended up going to Philadelphia to team up with former Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Although rumors of them getting another quarterback came into fruition, the Eagles have been missing a top-tier pass catcher, especially after passing on Justin Jefferson in last year's draft. Now, Smith becomes the easy number one target for new head coach Nick Sirianni and Hurts.
Jalen Reagor was the first-round pick last season for Philly, and now Reagor and Smith could easily headline one of the better, young receiving corps in the NFL in Sirianni's first campaign in Philadelphia.
Smith and Hurts should give Eagles' fans a lot to be happy about and the Heisman Trophy winner going to the Eagles will be a lot to look forward to for their new regime. Will they be able to make some noise in the mediocre NFC East next season?
