In mid-January, Jameson Williams announced that he will be available in the 2022 NFL Draft. The announcement came just days after the Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver tore his ACL in the College Football Championship. Alabama went on to lose the National Championship to the Georgia Bulldogs with a final score of 33-18.
Fortunately for Williams, it doesn't sound like this injury should impact the beginning of his NFL career. The top prospect said at the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine that he expects to be available for training camp.
New England Patriots beat writer Andrew Callahan tweeted the news Wednesday morning.

Shortly after, Buffalo Bills reporter Matt Parrino tweeted that Williams has his eyes on the Bills heading into the NFL Draft. During his media appearance, the receiver said that he “would love to play with Josh Allen.”

The Bills had a solid regular season and a deep playoff run, so they don't have the best spot in the first round of the NFL Draft. They draft 25th overall, so it's unlikely that the top receiver prospect in the draft makes it past the top ten.
Williams led Alabama's receiving game in his final year with the Crimson Tide. He recorded 79 receptions for 1,572 yards and 15 touchdowns. The 20-year-old averaged 104.8 yards per game.
The 2022 NFL Draft kicks off on April 28.
