Colin Kaepernick has spent recent weeks attempting to work his way back into the NFL. Most recently, there were talks about him potentially joining the Seattle Seahawks, but nothing came to fruition. In early April, Kaepernick is still a free agent and looking for an NFL contract.

Kaepernick was an honorary captain at the Michigan Wolverines' Maize and Blue spring game Saturday afternoon. He also hosted an exhibition throwing event at halftime with 2022 NFL Draft prospects.

The former NFL quarterback took advantage of his involvement in Michigan's spring game and showed off his own skills. Kaepernick got in on the fun and ended the halftime spectacle with a 60-yard bomb at Michigan Stadium.

NFL insider Adam Schefter tweeted a clip of the absolute dime Saturday afternoon.

Clearly, Kaepernick still has the arm strength and accuracy that it takes to be a quarterback in the NFL. The 34-year-old hasn't been in the league since he became a free agent in 2016.

Despite his lawsuit against the NFL, Kaepernick has made it very clear that he wants to begin his seventh year in the league. In his sixth season back in 2016, Kaepernick played in 12 games. He recorded 196 completions for 2,241 yards and 16 passing touchdowns, averaging 16.3 completions, 186.75 yards, and 1.3 passing touchdowns per game.

There are still plenty of teams looking for starting quarterbacks for the 2022-2023 season, so Kaepernick's NFL return is not out of the picture.
