Dez Bryant has been waiting patiently for a team in the NFL to give him a chance to prove himself again. The free agent wideout took to Twitter to say that he'd “do damage” as a role player somewhere in the NFL.

The last game that Dez Bryant played in the NFL came in 2017 with the Dallas Cowboys. For four years with the Cowboys, Bryant was once one of the best wide receivers in the league. However, injuries began to plague him as his career progressed.

After being released by Dallas in 2018, not many teams expressed interest in his services. Then, near the end of the 2018 season, the New Orleans Saints worked him out and signed him to a one-year deal.

Sadly, the All-Pro wide receiver wouldn't play a single down with the Saints after tearing his Achilles in his first practice with the team. As a result, he would be placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Since then, Dez Bryant has been attempting to make a monumental comeback to the NFL. Up to this point, no teams have shown interest in signing, let alone working out the veteran pass-catcher.

At 31 years old, Bryant believes he still has something left in the tank. Despite some people believing that Bryant is a selfish player, he is willing to be a role player for a team next season.

Earlier this year, Jamal Adams exclaimed that he'd love to play alongside Dez Bryant with the New York Jets. Whether it's the Jets or another team, Bryant just wants a chance to show that he can still produce for a team in the NFL.
