Hue Jackson was the latest NFL head coach to be fired, and BetOnline.ag just released the odds for a few other NFL coaches in the hot seat. Right now Dirk Koetter, Vance Joseph and Steve Wilks are the men mostly likely to get the plug pulled next. Adam Gase and Pat Shurmur are in a tie for fourth.
Dirk Koetter had a hot start with the Tampa Pay Buccaneers. They won their first two games, but have gone 1-4 since Week 3. They have been flipping between Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jameis Winston under center, and the quarterback controversy has seriously hurt the team. As of now Koetter is +350 to be fired next, meaning a $100 bet will earn your $350 if you're correct.
Next in line is Vance Joseph, who has led the Denver Broncos to a 3-5 record so far. The team is third in the AFC West, and it's unlikely they'll catch the first place Kansas City Chiefs. The team thought about making a change at quarterback, but criminal charges forced them to drop their backup quarterback Chadd Kelly. Joseph clocks in at +400.
The Arizona Cardinals have been slightly better since they promoted Josh Rosen to starting quarterback. They won their second game of the season against the San Francisco 49ers, but that doesn't mean Steve Wilks isn't still in danger. Their defense seems more motivated, and they've maintained the Patrick Peterson in now. Wilks' +550 odds ranks him in third.
Adam Gase and Pat Shurmur are both +700. Gase had an impressive start with the Miami Dolphins, while Shurmur and the New York Giants have been underwhelming from the start. These two are at risk, but they're not worse off than Dirk Koetter and Joseph.
