The relationship between the Oakland Raiders and Antonio Brown finally came to an end with the team releasing him on Saturday morning. Following his release, Drew Rosenhaus is already working on getting Brown signed with a new team for the 2019 season per Ian Rapoport.

Brown has had a drama-filled offseason in Oakland that includes frostbitten feet, a helmet dispute, a hot-air balloon, and an altercation with GM Mike Mayock. In the end, it was the altercation that drew the final straw with the Raiders.

Rosenhaus, Brown's agent, realizes that his job is to attempt to salvage this situation by getting his client onto a new team. Despite the baggage that comes with the disgruntled receiver, there will likely be teams expressing interest in his services.

There's no denying the talent that Brown still has at 31-years-old with him catching 104 passes for 1,297 yards and a career-high 15 touchdowns just last season. Furthermore, he's averaged 114 receptions, 1,524 yards, and 11 touchdowns over the past six seasons.

However, those numbers all came when Brown was on a Pittsburgh Steelers team who had Ben Roethlisberger throwing him the ball. Now, Brown's future in the NFL is unknown but he can still produce for a team in need of production at wide receiver.

By releasing Brown, the Raiders are not required to pay the receiver any of the money he signed for back in March. Therefore, any team who brings in Brown will need to sign the receiver to a new contract.

Rosenhaus will do his best to get Brown onto a new team in the near future but getting a team to commit to him on a lucrative contract will be tricky.
