Greg Hardy seems to have gotten his life back on the right track after being accused of domestic violence. The charges were dropped because his accuser failed to appear for the jury trial. The Dallas Cowboys ended up releasing him, and now he has a contract deal with the UFC after a few successful fights.

Hardy claims that after being released by the Cowboys he did actually have two more visits with NFL teams, but the owners shot him down.

“I went on a visit and the whole place loved me,” Hardy said to Robert Klemko of SI.com. “I went to the owner and he was like, So you’re a wife-beater. You did it, so just tell me how you changed. I didn’t know where to go from there.”

It makes sense the owners shot him down. The proof that Hardy did it lies in the pictures, and they were graphic. Just because the charges ended up being dropped and he is innocent in the eyes of the law, doesn't mean that he's actually innocent. Hardy, however, uses that as proof, and still claims that he did nothing wrong and probably won't ever change his story.

“I don’t maintain my innocence,” Hardy said “The United States government maintains my innocence.”

It's good to see Hardy staying out of trouble, but he won't admit to what actually happened, and that is troubling. It appears the UFC has given him a chance though, something that it appears no NFL team is going to do again and for good reason.
