According to a Monday evening report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, the NFL has wasted no time in fining three different head coaches for not properly wearing masks as a result of their respective Week 2 matchups. Schefter notes that the three head coaches that have been fined are Vic Fangio of the Denver Broncos, Pete Carroll of the Seattle Seahawks and Kyle Shanahan of the San Francisco 49ers.

Each NFL head coach has been fined a whopping $100,000 while each franchise will need to pay another $250,000 in fines as well. In all, the league dished out more than $1 million in fines for mask violations in Week 2.

The Broncos were the only NFL team of the three to not come out of Sunday with a win as both the Seahawks and 49ers notched victories in Week 2. The Broncos have been throttled by a slew of injury troubles early on this season as Denver has come up just shy of not one but two victories this season. After losing to the 2-0 Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football in Week 1, the Broncos then lost to another 2-0 team in the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2.

The Seahawks are now a perfect 2-0 on the season after defeating both the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots to begin the 2020-21 regular season. The 49ers are an even 1-1 as San Francisco has also been decimated by injuries. The 49ers initially lost to the rival Arizona Cardinals before earning the team's first win of the season in NFL Week 2 against the lowly New York Jets.
