The lawsuit involving former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores sent tidal waves through the NFL. Not only did Flores accuse NFL teams of racial inequality during his head coaching interviews, but he also spoke of alleged tanking that went on during his tenure with the Dolphins. Flores claimed that he was essentially bribed by the team into losing, very serious allegations that prompted a stern pledge from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Roger Goodell spoke on the Brian Flores lawsuit allegations, saying that he found them “very disturbing.” Goodell made a promise that when all the facts are discovered regarding the alleged tanking, the matter will be dealt with “very seriously.”

It's not a guarantee that the NFL will handle the matter perfectly, but simply the fact that Goodell is taking the allegations of Flores seriously is certainly a good sign for those in the camp of the former Dolphins head coach.

It will be interesting to see what Goodell and the NFL decide to do regarding Flores' allegations of tanking. As the commissioner said, it's something that affects the “integrity of the game”, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Roger Goodell crack down hard on the teams involved.
