Former San Francisco 49ers star Richard Sherman is in hot water due to multiple charges after trying to break into the house of his in-laws after reportedly arguing with his wife, Ashley Sherman.

On Thursday, a surveillance video of Sherman's violent attempt was released, showing him repeatedly trying to force his way through the front door of the house, while angrily shouting “Open the door!” (via KIRO 7).

Sherman has been ordered by a judge to be released on bail. According to reports, the King County District Court found probable cause that the 33-year-old cornerback committed four offenses: Misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor charges of criminal trespassing in the second degree, malicious mischief in the third degree (both carrying domestic violence designations), misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, and driving under the influence.

An allegedly drunk Sherman, who was also reportedly involved in a hit-and-run, was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday after his wife called 911.

Sherman, who won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks early in his career, is hoping to make it back to the NFL. But the incident undoubtedly puts that in jeopardy. The NFL is already looking into the case.

Sherman's wife said he didn't hurt her or their two children despite allegations of domestic violence. After the bail hearing, she issued a statement offering her full support to the five-time All-Pro member.

“I love and support my husband. I am committed to helping Richard get the support and care that he needs. Richard has always been a loving father and husband. And we are looking forward to seeing him at home with his family.”

Richard Sherman's next hearing is on Friday.
