The last week of the regular season can be a weird space for both fantasy football as well as betting on the NFL. Several teams have their playoff seeding locked up and will not play all or any key players. Nonetheless, we are here with our 5 best NFL bets for Week 18 as we continue our NFL odds series.

Best NFL Bets

Jacksonville Jaguars (+15.5) vs. Indianapolis Colts

Jacksonville is getting a ton of points at home in this spot. The Colts have to have this win to lock up their playoff position, so they may come out a little tight. The Jaguars are obviously a bad team, but this is a ton of points to give an NFL team at home vs. an opponent that didn't even win their own decision. Take the Jags and the points.

Miami Dolphins (+6) vs. New England Patriots

This line feels like a bit of recency bias, as the Dolphins had been on fire before losing to the Tennessee Titans in Week 17. The Patriots demolished the Jaguars at home after looking suspect against the Colts and Buffalo Bills in previous weeks. Take the points with Miami at home for this one, as these two teams often play very close games, especially when the games are in South Florida. Tua Tagovailoa was able to go into Foxborough and beat the Patriots in Week 1, now Mac Jones will look to return the favor in Week 18.

New York Jets (+16.5) at Buffalo Bills

The Jets have been scrappy of late, evidenced by their near-upset of Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 17. It would be totally on brand for the Jets to lay an egg after looking good last week, but we're riding with them. Zach Wilson seems to be making less mistakes each week and has looked pretty solid over the past two games despite the Jets' skill position players being banged up. Take New York and the points in this one as the Bills have had a tendency to play down to their competition this season.

Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5) at Baltimore Ravens

This may be Ben Roethlisberger's final game if the Steelers aren't able to get a win and then some luck after that to get into the postseason. Tyler Huntley will start for the Ravens at QB as Lamar Jackson is set to be out again with an ankle injury. Regardless, the Steelers are going to want to send their quarterback out on a win and the Ravens have not looked great of late. Take the Steelers to cover and possibly win in what will be an emotional day for Pittsburgh.

San Francisco 49ers (+4) at Los Angeles Rams

The 49ers need to win this game to lock up a playoff spot, and despite QB Jimmy Garoppolo being questionable with a thumb injury, they should be able to cover and possibly win either way. Kyle Shanahan's teams have shown over the years to be more physical than the Rams in these matchups, so look for the 49ers to lean on the run game and their defense in this one. Take the points as the Rams don't really have a homefield advantage.
