Defensive end Jadevon Clowney is still a free agent, but more teams are joining the sweepstakes to get his services for the 2020 season. Mark Berman of Fox 26 caught up Clowney who is working out in Houston, Texas as he tries to get ready for the upcoming season.

Clowney still has an interest in signing with the Seattle Seahawks according to Berman. Other teams that are showing interest are the Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles and Ravens joining the mix for his services could be big additions as they try to compete for a Super Bowl.

Clowney underwent hernia surgery during the offseason but he has made it clear that he is healthy and will be ready to give his team 100 percent. Said Clowney,

“I want to let people know I'm ready, and whoever I sign with is gonna get the best version of me.”

With the hernia surgery and the COVID-19 pandemic, teams haven't been able to give full physicals, which has been a reason for the slow down. Clowney added,

“I know what's going on in the world. It's a slow process until teams can see me and see what I got and can give me physicals … I'm just waiting on the right opportunity.”

The Ravens have Matt Judon as their star defensive end, but he has the franchise tag on him. If they can't reach a long term deal, could they sign Clowney and trade away Judon?

The Eagles need pass-rushing help and if they feel they can win a Super Bowl this year, it would make sense for the team to offer a long term contract to a game-changer like Clowney.
