The Los Angeles Rams pulled off a blockbuster trade on Monday, acquiring Von Miller from the Denver Broncos for a 2022 second-round pick and a 2022 third-round pick. This was a shocking move that drew reactions from around the NFL right ahead of the trade deadline.

Naturally, players from both teams were quick to chime in. Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey was all over Twitter with his excited reaction:

Meanwhile, Broncos running back Melvin Gordon seemed a bit shocked by the news:

Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds didn't seem too excited about this blockbuster NFL trade:

That's no surprise given Edmonds' Cardinals are battling the Rams for NFC West supremacy. Both teams are 7-1 on the season and have made monster trades ahead of the NFL trade deadline. Arizona recently acquired Zach Ertz to bolster an already explosive offense, and Los Angeles has now countered by adding Miller to a defensive group featuring Ramsey and Aaron Donald.

Miller has made eight Pro Bowls in his career and had a string of six straight going before not playing in the 2020 season. So far in 2021, the 32-year-old has 4.5 sacks in seven games. He might not be as dominant as he once was earlier in this career, but he could be even more dangerous playing next to Donald on this Rams defense.

The Rams are going all in on this NFL season. They've given up a lot of draft capital to put together this roster, which is led by Donald on defense and Matthew Stafford on offense. Anything less than a Super Bowl appearance is going to be a disappointing for this group, especially after adding Von Miller.

The Broncos are 4-4 on the season and looking toward the future with this move.
