The battle of the birds has been one of the best games of the week thus far. Kyler Murray came out firing on all cylinders to help the Arizona Cardinals take an early lead, but Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles stormed back to make it a contest.
In a game full of big, exciting, plays, a special teams play had to make an appearance.
The Cardinals executed a fake punt pass in a tie game to get a very crucial first down in the fourth quarter. Arizona on their own 30-yard line when they decided to execute the trick play, which was a huge risk late in the game.

It worked out and the Cardinals ended up scoring on that possession–thanks to a 20-yard touchdown reception from DeAndre Hopkins,–giving them a critical one-touchdown lead in the fourth quarter.
Article Continues BelowThis game looked like it was going to be a blowout early on, but Hurts has been putting on a show in his second start. If it wasn't for fake punt conversions, the Cardinals may actually be trailing in the contest.
With a Seattle Seahawks win and a Los Angeles Rams loss, Murray and Co. still have a chance to win the NFC West.
The Arizona-based team is set to play the San Francisco 49ers and Rams to closeout the season. Both games will be absolutely crucial for the Cardinals if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
With games getting more and more important, it wouldn't be surprising if Arizona resorts to more trickery and risky plays.
