The Arizona Cardinals are still without a win after four weeks of football. Their latest heartbreak was an ugly loss against the Seattle Seahawks that saw them down by 17 points for the majority of the game.

It's not a situation any football player or coach wants to be in. However, team coach Kliff Kingsbury is calling for the entire organization to steel themselves and prepare. It will be a long season ahead for them, and he wants everyone to know that.

Kent Somers' report is a sad but accurate depiction of the level the Cardinals are at recently. They put on a battling display during the season opener, but their performances have dipped since then. It's looking like a race between them and the Miami Dolphins for the first overall pick of the 2020 Draft.

However, it isn't like they didn't make any progress during the past couple of weeks. The fact that they only lost by 17 points against a strong Seahawks side is a sign that they're somehow improving their performances.

Kevin Zimmerman of Arizona Sports wrote:

“We definitely took a step forward from last week. Last week was not good for us,” Cardinals safety Budda Baker said, wishing his team would create more turnovers via interception. “This week, still not good for us … we definitely got better, but then again, we left some plays out (there).”

Some also see this as the signal for Cardinals GM Steve Keim to be fired. He's been with the team for quite a while but failed to address the key issues that plagued this team from day one.

Until a significant culture change happens, all Kingsbury could do is rally the troops and hope for the best. A miracle, even.
