The Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns produced quite a show on Monday night. The Ravens notched a 47-42 victory over the Browns in what turned out to be a historic matchup between two sides that left everything on the field.
Baltimore and Cleveland combined for no less than nine rushing touchdowns throughout the evening, which tied an age old NFL record that has been in existence for nearly a century:
The 9 combined rushing TD in tonight's MNF game is tied for the most in a single game in NFL history.

It was one of the most high-scoring games of the season, and by combining for 89 total points between them, the Ravens and the Browns were also able to set a new Monday Night Football scoring record:

This was arguably the most enthralling matchup of the season thus far, and it comes as no surprise that it resulted in a couple of scoring records. In the end, however, it was the Ravens who emerged victorious in a back-and-forth contest that came down to the wire.
Baltimore's win lifts them to 8-5 on the season, as they sit at the third spot in the AFC North. One game ahead of them are the now-9-4 Browns, who themselves have become one of the biggest surprise packages of the season. Sitting atop the conference is the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have now lost two straight after winning their first 11 games of the campaign.
Needless to say, it's becoming a very interesting race in the AFC North. The Browns and the Steelers battle it out in the final week of the season.
