The Baltimore Ravens are considered by many as the best football team in the NFL today. However, even the most dangerous football team is not impervious to making small errors.

That's exactly what they did when it's been revealed that a Ravens employee was wearing a bluetooth headset behind head coach John Harbaugh during their 31-15 victory over the Cleveland Browns. It didn't exactly give the team a good look to the audience and it lit up NFL Twitter in the process.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reported that it may be possible for the team to face sanctions in the form of fines if they find the team guilty of donning such a device without good reason. He explained the intricacies of the situation.

It’s technically a violation of the rules for team personnel other than doctors and training staff to have such devices in the bench area. (It’s believed that the person wearing the headset is Ravens director of security Darren Sanders.) Earlier this year, for example, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was fined $5,000 for wearing an Apple watch in the bench area during a game.

While the headset was an unfortunate gaffe, it didn't take away from the fact that the Ravens won convincingly against their AFC North rivals in the Browns. Moreover, their final game of the season is a winnable one against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With the way Lamar Jackson and the rest of the team has been playing recently, this issue won't be significant for long. However, they will surely be extra careful that no bluetooth devices are in the sidelines come kickoff.
