The Baltimore Ravens have a bit of dilemma on their hands at the starting quarterback position heading into the 2019 season. Rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson took over the starting job after long time quarterback Joe Flacco went down with an injury. Unfortunately for Flacco, even once he was healthy enough to return the Ravens stuck with Jackson. The big question is, what will the Ravens do with Flacco?

According to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta addressed the situation regarding Flacco's future with the team.

“I think that’s an ongoing process. The new league year starts in March. We’ll have a lot of new ideas, strategies, things that we’ll look at once March rolls around. Right now, we’re really focused on the draft and our free agency meetings which will start to take place over the next few weeks. We have discussed Joe, we’ve discussed a lot of players on the team. I think when the time comes for us to make a decision one way or the other, we will have a plan in place.”

The decision seems like it's all but made considering the Ravens were very committed to Jackson in the final stretch of the season. Jackson is without a doubt a rare talent and provides a style to the offense that the Ravens have never had. The former Heisman Trophy winner can run and plays smart, but he definitely can not throw at an elite level quite yet.

The Ravens drafted Jackson for a reason and Flacco's days in Baltimore could be over.
