The Baltimore Ravens are hosting a visit with University of Mississippi wide receiver D.K. Metcalf on Monday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Metcalf was not incredibly productive on the collegiate level, as he is coming off of a sophomore campaign in which he hauled in 26 receptions for 569 yards and five touchdowns.
However, he ran an impressive 4.33-second 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine and also posted a 40.5-inch vertical jump, so the athleticism is there. Plus, at 6-foot-3 and around 230 pounds, Metcalf has good size.
The 21-year-old arrived at Mississippi back in 2016, but played in just two games before a foot injury ended his season. He then redshirted and returned an eligible freshman in 2017, catching 39 passes for 646 yards and seven scores.

The Ravens are in desperate need of help in their receiving corps, so their interest in Metcalf certainly makes sense. After releasing Michael Crabtree and seeing John Brown walk via free agency, Baltimore is very thin on weapons in the passing game, so it seems almost a guarantee that the Ravens will take a wide out in the early rounds.
Baltimore won 10 games and captured the AFC North division title this past season, sneaking into the playoffs after a Pittsburgh Steelers collapse in the second half of the year.
The Ravens, who were led by rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson, then proceeded to lose to the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card Round.
