After missing last week’s game against the Denver Broncos, Baltimore Ravens linebacker C.J. Mosley is expected to be back in action and on the field when his team takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers this coming Sunday at Heinz Field.

According to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh hinted on Mosley’s availability for the Pittsburgh game while also making a positive update on the immediate outlook of defensive tackle Michael Pierce.

On Friday, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said that he saw no reason why Mosley will not be back in the starting lineup on Sunday night. Harbaugh said he felt the same way about defensive tackle Michael Pierce, who has been dealing with a foot injury.

Mosley has been among the top defensive performers for the Ravens in last several years. Drafted in the first round by Baltimore in 2014, Mosley has made it to three Pro Bowls, the last of which was in 2017 when he played and started in all 16 games and put up 96.0 tackles, two interceptions, and a sack.

C.J. Mosley is known for his durability, too, having missed just a total of two games from 2014 to 2017.

His imminent return is good news for the Ravens, who will be looking to contain the Steelers’ ground attack that’s currently being lead by running back James Conner.

Mosley had his fifth-year option with the Ravens picked up by Baltimore last April.
