Los Angeles Lakers forward and former NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony crossed over into another sport on Monday in order to show his support for his Baltimore Ravens. Melo can be heard as the narrator for the team's week 1 hype video ahead of their Monday night matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders.

“When you're a Raven, you're here for all of it,” Anthony narrates over b-roll of Ravens players training.

Anthony is a great fit to represent the Ravens. The 10-time All-Star is of course a legend throughout the sports world, but he's an icon in Baltimore. Though he was born in Brooklyn and went to college at Syracuse, he spent most of his childhood in Baltimore and claims the D.C./Maryland/Virginia area as his home. He attended Towson Catholic High School in Towson, Maryland and Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. A high school basketball star in the DMV, the Baltimore Sun named him the metro player of the year in 2001. In the hype video, Anthony recalls his early days in sports, looking to his teammates by his side for support as they enter an opposing arena.

The Ravens will be doing just that on Monday, taking on Derek Carr and the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium in Navada.
