On Saturday, Ed Reed will forever be enshrined in Canton, Ohio in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He will always be remembered for his career with the Baltimore Ravens. Could he make a return to Baltimore soon?

According to Jason La Canfora, Ed Reed would love to coach for Baltimore. Reed is inching to get back on the football field and coaching may be his way to do just that.

Over the course of his career, Reed was the definition of a ball hawk at the free safety position. Quarterbacks would continually try to find ways to throw away from him, but he still found ways to track the ball and go the other way.

When visualizing the Ravens defense over the past two decades, people remember the likes of Reed, Ray Lewis, and Terrell Suggs. Reed will always be engrained in Ravens history and becoming a coach for them would be fitting.

Reed has had coaching experience in the NFL before. To end his playing career, Reed found himself with the New York Jets in 2013.

His head coach was Rex Ryan, who was his defensive coordinator for part of his career in Baltimore. Ryan would become the Buffalo Bills head coach in 2015, and he brought Reed on to his staff in 2016.

Reed worked with the defensive backs, but Reed highlighted that his time with the Bills was not pleasant. Maybe working with guys like Marlon Humphrey, Earl Thomas, and Brandon Carr would get him excited to coach again.
