Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has shown plenty of promise in quarterback Joe Flacco's absence. As a result, there is plenty of speculation regarding which player head coach Jonh Harbaugh will go with moving forward.
Flacco was finally able to practice after missing two games with a hip injury. According to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, Harbaugh has not ruled anything out on offense.
Article Continues BelowJohn Harbaugh said the Ravens could use both Joe Flacco and Lamar Jackson a significant amount in games once Flacco is cleared. “We’ll just do what gives us the best chance and try to use all of our players the best way we can,” Harbaugh said. “So, everything is on the table.”
Harbaugh's comments are rather vague. Perhaps that will be the approach he takes moving forward now that he has two healthy quarterbacks under center. The Ravens had given little notion all season that they were ready to start Jackson until Flacco was sidelined with an injury. However, the rookie's performance during that time begs the question of whether or not Baltimore should move on.
Jackson has completed 27 of 44 passes for 328 yards, a touchdown, and three interceptions in his two starts. He has also managed to rush for 190 yards and a touchdown on 37 carries. Although he has struggled with his accuracy, his versatility gives Baltimore offense much more firepower than it did with Flacco under center. It should be noted that the veteran has struggled with his accuracy this season as well. Jackson's mobility gives the Ravens an added element of surprise. Regardless, it will be interesting to see which direction Harbaugh decides to take.
