Lamar Jackson just became only the 2nd QB in NFL history with 1,000+ rush yards in a single season.

The Ravens have been far and away the best rushing team in the NFL this season with over 200 yards per game on the ground. The next closest team has been the San Francisco 49ers with 148.0 rushing yards per game. Of course, this is thanks in large part to Jackson's versatility as both a runner and a passer.

There is no question that this blueprint has been a recipe for success in Baltimore after beating essentially every high-profile team in the league en route to a 10-2 record and AFC supremacy. As a result, Jackson has firmly established himself as the front runner for MVP.

He now needs only 40 yards to break Vick's record of 1,039 yards. Although he would surely be happy to cross the mark against the Bills, there is no question he would much rather make sure the Ravens can secure the win.
