Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Willie Lee Snead IV there's still a silver lining for teammate Lamar Jackson. This following their discouraging 17-3 defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Bills in their NFL Divisional Round clash on Saturday at Bills Stadium.
Not only did Jackson see his season end in disappointing fashion for the third year in a row, but he also went into concussion protocol late in the third quarter after getting hit in the end zone. The 2019 NFL MVP stayed down on the ground for quite some time before being taken back to the locker room.
As bad as Saturday's string of events has been for Jackson, Snead believes it would serve as a wake-up call for the Ravens' star quarterback to come back even stronger next season, per Jeff Zrebiec of Athletic-Baltimore.

Despite the blowout loss, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens should still be thanking their lucky stars after he was cleared to travel back home with the rest of the team. That's certainly great consolation news for Baltimore and its fans following another early playoff exit. Jackson did get his first career playoff win when the Ravens eliminated the Tennessee Titans, 20-13, in their wild Card Round match last week.
But that celebration was obviously short-lived when Josh Allen and the rest of the Bills gave them a huge reality check on Saturday. Apart from taking that stinging L, Jackson also saw his NFL-best 39-game streak with at least one touchdown, run or pass, snapped. He failed to produce a touchdown for the first time since November 2018.
