Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram expects to be ready for the team's first game during the divisional round of the playoffs. according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

Ingram also said he was really worried after he went down with the calf injury because he heard a pop in the back of the calf, so he was relieved to find out that wasn't more. Ravens coach John Harbaugh said earlier in the week that even if Ingram hadn't suffered the injury, he probably wouldn't have played Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“He won’t play this week. He probably wouldn’t play this week no matter what the circumstance was with that calf strain,” Harbaugh said via the Baltimore Ravens team website. “We’d be looking for him to be ready in two weeks. So we’ll just see how that goes going forward.”

With Ingram sitting out Week 17, it's going to give him almost three weeks to get his calf healed up. Ingram was injured on a non-contract play during Week 16. It was a read-option from Lamar Jackson that he kept and Ingram instantly went to the ground. He had to be helped off the field and didn't return to the game.

Ingram has been a big part of the Ravens' offense and it is good news that he expects to be back for the playoffs. On the season, Ingram has rushed 202 times for 1,108 yards and 10 touchdowns. If the Ravens are going to win the Super Bowl, Ingram is going to be a key reason why.
