Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Marquise Brown is inactive against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported.

The impressive first-year wideout has been a huge target for sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson, tallying 21 receptions for 326 yards and three touchdowns in five games. “Hollywood” Brown missed last week's matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals—a six-point win for the Ravens.

Prior to his absence from the Bengals victory, Brown appeared in Baltimore's Week 5 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, making three receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown. However, the 22-year-old injured his ankle during his performance on the field, prompting the game-time decision last week at home against Cincinnati and now for the second consecutive week on the sidelines.

The Ravens selected Brown with the 25th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft last April out of Oklahoma. He broke out onto the scene early with two touchdown receptions and nearly 150 yards against the Miami Dolphins in the Ravens' Week 1 decimation of the south Florida franchise.

With Brown out once again, former Heisman Trophy winner Jackson will have limited options on offense, although we have seen in the past the Louisville product can create offense on his own. Once lamented as a “running back” instead of a real quarterback, Jackson has busted through with an incredible 2019 campaign following his promising rookie season substituting for ex-franchise QB Joe Flacco, who has since been traded to the Denver Broncos in the offseason.

Tight end Mark Andrews leads the team in receptions and receiving yards, with Brown as Jackson's number-two favorite target.
