Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco could be in danger of missing Week 11’s matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals at home. According to a report by Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Flacco has a hurting hip that could prevent him from showing up under center in the coming weeks.

Starting quarterback Joe Flacco is dealing with a hip injury that puts his status for next Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals in question, according to several sources. The severity of the injury is unclear.

Zrebiec also reported that Flacco sustained the injury during the sixth play from scrimmage in the Ravens’ Week 9 23-16 home loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Flacco was able to finish the game, coming up 206 passing yards on 23-of-37 completions with zero touchdowns and without an interception.

Flacco gets an extra week of rest to deal with his injury, thanks to a Week 10 bye, though, it seemingly is not helping him much in easing his hip ailment.

While the exact severity of Flaco’s injury is yet to be determined, Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports is noting that the worst-case scenario for the quarterback is a surgery, which could mean the end of Flacco’s season.
