New team, same story for Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters. Oddly enough, it involves a familiar opponent in Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
Peters has wasted no time making his presence felt in his Ravens debut by picking off Wilson for a 67-yard return touchdown to put them ahead in the second quarter, via NFL Twitter:

Baltimore made quite a splash ahead of the trade deadline by acquiring Peters from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for linebacker Kenny Young and a fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. It is safe to say that squaring off against Wilson during his time in Los Angeles has helped him provide some immediate bang for their buck.
Despite his struggles as of late, Peters has always maintained his reputation as a playmaker on defense. The fact that he was able to do it against an MVP candidate like Wilson bodes well for the Ravens' future plans for him in their scheme.
It will be interesting to see if Peters can avoid the inevitable miscues that tend to outweigh the big-time plays he makes.
