Ever wonder how much a dropkick to another human being would cost you? Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict found out after the National Football League reviewed his kick to a Pittsburgh Steelers fullback.

Burfict was issued a fine worth just over $12,000 for his actions, per NFL.com.

None of this tomfoolery is new for the Bengals linebacker.

Vontaze Burfict already missed the Bengals first three games of the 2017 season due to a suspension for an unnecessary hit on Kansas City Chiefs fullback Anthony Sherman. Apparently, he is not a huge fan of people who play the fullback position or something — likely something, but you need not worry about the semantics.

As you might recall, Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell was none too pleased with the linebacker:

“My fullback got kicked in the face. That’s just not football to me,” Le’Veon Bell said, via ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. “I don’t think that’s a respectable play.”

Anyway, Burfict has long been considered one of the dirtier players in the National Football League. It seems like, season-after-season, something happens and the Bengals talent is at the center of some talking-point storm in regards to what is and isn’t good football.

Here is to hoping that he learns from the incident. I mean, he won't. He hasn't from all the other incidents in which it has resulted in public shame for the talent. But maybe this time it is different.

Oh, who are we kidding? He's going to graduate from dropkicking players to giving them a tombstone piledriver — which, by the way, I would be OK with.
