The Cincinnati Bengals saw their playoff chances take another significant after falling to the Chicago Bears in a 33-7 blowout at home.

Following the loss, All-Pro wide receiver A.J. Green voiced his disgruntlement stating that he was embarrassed by how things transpired on Sunday afternoon, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.

“It’s definitely embarrassing,” Green said. “Any time you lose 33-7, no matter how good the other team played, it’s embarrassing. We have three more weeks left, and we have to continue fighting.”

The Bengals came out flat against the Bears with a chance to get back on track and stay in the mix for a realistic shot at making the playoffs. They now fall a loss away from being eliminated entirely from the playoff picture with the only hope being much scuffling ahead of them in the wild card spot and winning out the last three games.

Cincinnati has struggled the entire season to find any level of consistency that began with dropping their first three games of the year. Since then, it has been an uphill battle that has seen them suffer four losses by four points or fewer. This included giving up a 17-point lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 14.

Their final three games of the regular season will be against the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, and Baltimore Ravens.
