New Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave, who replaces the recently fired Mike McCoy, apparently has a plan for the team's inept offense.

He's going to make it clean … or something.

“We’re going to try to be much cleaner in our approach,” Musgrave said, via ESPN.com. “Take care of the football, take care of the quarterback and be explosive when the ball is in our hands. … Like a teacher, find out what that student’s champion is and play to that strength. And that’s what we’re going to try to do as coaches: Think players first, then plays and play to our strengths.”

This is somewhat laughable, as it wasn't like McCoy was telling his guys to turn it over.

For those unaware, Bill Musgrave was previous the quarterbacks coach for the Broncos. That's the least capable position Denver has on the entire roster. It's the real reason, not the less clean McCoy offensive strategy, Denver can't do much on that side of the football.

Nevertheless, especially to be fair to Musgrave, the Broncos are going to be starting Paxton Lynch this week. It will be interesting to see what kind of strategy they use given how little experience the sky pirate actually has at playing in the National Football League.

In a perfect world, at least for Denver, whatever Musgrave attempts from here on out will work. Otherwise, John Elway and Vance Joseph could be looking for yet another different offensive coordinator when the season ends.

The world is, unfortunately, rarely perfect.
