Khalil Mack spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Oakland Raiders.
Now, he'll be taking them on as an opponent for the first time as the Chicago Bears head to the Bay to battle the Raiders next Sunday, and the linebacker is looking forward to the meeting.
“(It) is a game I've been looking forward to,” said Mack, according to Vic Tafur of The Athletic. “I can't lie. It's going to be a big one for me.”
Mack was traded from the Raiders to the Bears shortly before the start of the 2018 campaign, as Oakland was beginning a rebuild under a new regime led by Jon Gruden.
The Raiders received a couple of first-round draft picks in return, but even still, people questioned if the deal was worth it for Oakland.
