Things might be turning for the better, as the Chicago Bears are making serious moves to their coaching staff. After hiring Matt Eberflus as the head coach, we may finally see this franchise become a legitimate contender. Considering he's a defensive-minded coach, Eberflus is searching for a competent offensive-minded coach to call plays. It seems he has his eyes set on a key Green Bay Packers coach.
According to Ian Rapoport, Matt Eberflus aims to hire Packers quarterback/passing game coach Luke Getsy. Aaron Rodgers has spoken very highly of Getsy before and this would be a brilliant hire for the Bears. Chicago has done a great job in the hiring search, as they're acquiring a coaching staff with a ton of potential.
Luke Getsy as OC is the top priority for new #Bears coach Matt Eberflus, but he’s already got a few defensive coaches on board — CBs coach James Rowe and LBs coach Dave Borgonzi. https://t.co/3IqtD6fkPX

Hiring Luke Getsy makes tremendous sense. Justin Fields is a young quarterback who needs someone to help him develop in the NFL. Not only that, it'd be another key coach leaving the Packers, which could be detrimental for Green Bay next year. The Bears are smartly adding a great coach while taking him away from a divisional rival.
We'll see how this all plays out, but the Bears are shaping up to be a dangerous team next year. The defense is already in place for the most part. Meanwhile, Chicago will have a chance to improve the offense during the offseason.
With the Packers potentially losing Aaron Rodgers, along with multiple key coaches, things might get interesting in the NFC North. This is the Bears' chance to take control of the division for once. Keep an eye on Chicago, as the future looks bright for this franchise.
