The Chicago Bears were able to come away from their Monday Night Football matchup with the Washington Redskins with a 31-15 victory. It was an ugly game for the Bears' offense, but the defense came through with a massive performance. Khalil Mack put together a masterful performance.
Mack ended up recording four total tackles to go along with two sacks and two forced fumbles. Chicago's defense is among the best in the league again this season and a big reason for that is the presence of Mack.
Pro Football Focus took to Twitter to share their grades for the Bears' defense from Monday night. They gave Mack's performance a massive grade of 92.4 that led the entire unit.

They have plenty of other star players on their defense, but Mack plays at a completely different level. Even though the Bears had to give up a lot to get him from the Oakland Raiders prior to last season, he is making it worthwhile.
Through the first three games of the 2019 season, Mack has compiled nine total tackles to go along with three sacks, three forced fumbles, and a defended pass.
At 28 years old, Mack is in the prime of his career and is among the best players in the entire NFL. He is viewed as one of the top contenders for the Defensive Player of the Year award and his performance against the Redskins shows why.
Next up for Mack and the Bears will be a big-time matchup with the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Mack will be asked to continue his dominant ways by pressuring Kirk Cousins all game long.
