The Chicago Bears made the big splash move over the weekend with the acquisition of All-Pro defensive end Khalil Mack from the Oakland Raiders.

It has now put him in the NFC North where he will go up against the Minnesota Vikings twice a season for the next several years, which is something that head coach Mike Zimmer has voiced that he wishes wasn't the case, according to Kyle Ratke of Vikings Wire.

“I probably wished he wouldn’t have gone to Chicago, but other than that I didn’t have any reaction,” Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said Monday.

The addition of Mack has now given the Bears one of the best defensive players in the league that is a premier pass rusher and shown the ability to impact the game with his play on the field heavily. In his first four years in the league, he has earned three Pro Bowl selections, two First-Team All-Pro selections, and an NFL Defensive Player of the Year award.

He is also coming off yet another impressive campaign where he had a team-high 10.5 sacks, which made him the fifth player in team history to record at least 10 sacks in three different seasons. His 40.5 sacks through his first four years are the third-most by a player over that stretch in Raiders’ history and fifth-most all-time. Mack will immediately step in as the leading factor on the defensive line as the Bears' top pass rusher this upcoming season.

The Vikings will get their first their first look at Mack in Week 11 of the regular season where he should be well into the flow of things with the defensive scheme. The two teams will also face off in the regular season finale that could be a pivotal game that impacts the playoff picture. Nonetheless, the rest of the NFC North has a new problem to worry about in Chicago.
