Former Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis spent almost three full decades in the NFL but heading into this first season away from the game he doesn't miss it. Lewis recently was asked by Zach Gelb of CBS Sports Radio if the transition away from the NFL was hard, and his answer was pretty simple, “no it's not.”
Lewis also said that he didn't miss the game and he right now he doesn't feel like he's ever going to return to the league.
Lewis was talkative about some topics, but some of the other topics he didn't care to say many words about it. When asked why the Bengals didn't have postseason success with him in charge he gave the literal answer.

Lewis is going to be working with Herm Edwards at Arizona State this upcoming season and said on Sunday's he probably won't pay much attention to the NFL.
“I don’t know,” Lewis said. “I watched games because it had an affect on things I was doing and so forth and strategically and so forth if I had an opportunity to watch another game. But I’d probably spend more time watching golf on TV than football, and with my responsibilities here at ASU, I’ll probably be a little busy on Sundays.”
It's pretty clear from Lewis's comments that he is happy in his new role and is also excited to be away from the grind of the NFL, and that is something that he isn't going to miss.
