The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off of a great week three victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. They improved to 2-1 on the season with their 24-10 win. The Bengals have looked strong so far and have surprised many people, who expected them to be near the bottom of the league.

Quarterback Joe Burrow has led this Bengals team to this fast start. While the Bengals are not yet a contender, they have the rising talent to sneak into the playoffs. The Bengals now move on to their next opponent, the Jacksonville Jaguars, who they play at home on Thursday.

The Jaguars have had a slow start to the season at 0-3. Rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence has struggled to get anything going thus far, which has resulted in offensive struggles. This matchup features the last two number one overall picks in Burrow and Lawrence, making it an intriguing game. With that said, here are four bold predictions for the Bengals week four game against the Jaguars.

Cincinnati Bengals Week 4 Predictions

4. Joe Mixon goes over 100 total yards

One of the most underrated running backs in the league is Joe Mixon. Mixon has had a good start to the season, helping the Bengals offense play well early.

Last week, Mixon had 18 carries for 90 yards, which helped the Bengals defeat the Steelers. Although Mixon is not a top running back, he has been great at getting the Bengals run game going. This has taken the pressure off of Burrow to carry the team offensively.

3. Ja'Marr Chase catches a touchdown

Despite a disappointing preseason, Ja'Marr Chase has started the season off strong. The Bengals took him with the 5th pick in the draft to pair with his college teammate Burrow. Burrow and Chase's chemistry has been great through the first three weeks, and Chase has proven why he was taken early in the draft.

Last week, Chase had four receptions for 65 yards for two touchdowns. He torched the Steelers' secondary and proved to be a reliable weapon even in his rookie campaign.

2. The defense forces multiple turnovers

The Bengals' defense had a fantastic performance against the Steelers on Sunday. They only allowed 10 points while also picking off Ben Roethlisberger twice. The Jaguars and Lawrence have also been turning the ball over frequently.

Through three games, Lawrence has thrown for 669 yards, five touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He also has a meager completion percentage of 54.2 percent. Lawrence has not lived up to the expectations as the number one pick. He wasn't expected to come in and lead them to the playoffs, but he was expected to perform at a high level.

Due to the Jaguars' offensive struggles, the Bengals' defense could dominate and control this game.

1. Joe Burrow throws three touchdowns

Joe Burrow has played well coming off his devastating injury in his rookie season last year. This season, Burrow has thrown for 640 yards as well as seven touchdowns. He also has a 70.7 completion percentage but has thrown four interceptions.

Although Burrow has thrown some interceptions, he has had a great season. Burrow has shown his elite arm talent and led the Bengals to an excellent record at 2-1. The addition of Chase has elevated Burrow's receiving core as he is paired with Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins.

Burrow and the Bengals are bound to continue their hot start and make a playoff push this season.
