Likely future Cincinnati Bengals quarterback and soon-to-be No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow is fresh off a stellar run with the LSU Tigers in what ultimately became his final collegiate season. While doing absolutely no wrong as a member of the SEC powerhouse this past season, Burrow notably won both a Heisman Trophy and National Championship with LSU in 2019.

However, Joe Burrow — the top prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft class — still understands that making the transition from the collegiate ranks to the professional level will surely have its ups and downs, especially during his rookie season.

“Whatever team I go to, it's going to be a challenge to begin in,” Burrow recently told an ESPN Radio affiliaite in Louisian. “I'm going to have to persevere through it, just like I've done in the past.”

Obviously, Joe Burrow will be heading into a very different offseason than in years past due to the current climate throughout the country, which has really put a damper on the NFL's typical offseason structure.

“You might have a really good first year,” Burrow added, via ESPN. “You might have a really bad first year. You don’t really know, especially without OTAs this year. You’re going to have less time with your team. So there’s going to be ups and downs, for sure. You’re just going to have to battle through it.”

Although he has yet to be officially selected by the aforementioned Bengals, such a move appears to be a lock at this point with the 2020 NFL Draft now less than 10 days away.
