The first two years of his tenure as a head coach of the Cleveland Browns for Hue Jackson have been nothing short of disastrous with the team winning just one game over that span.
It has put a tremendous amount of pressure and a huge spotlight on Jackson to push the team forward for some major improvement this upcoming season. This is something that he admitted on Friday stating that he needs to take some significant steps forward in 2018, according to Doug Lesmerises of Cleveland.com.

This is a critical year for Jackson as he could have an extremely short leash on him due to the lack of success the franchise has had with him at the helm that includes going winless this past season. The Browns have made several notable changes to the roster in hope of finally pushing them forward in the right direction, but if things continue to persist with the losses stacking up he could find himself out of a job in the early goings of the year.
All of this made for a high-pressure situation in Cleveland that will have his job on the line as he has the to prove he can be the coach that can lead the franchise back to the playoffs. The Browns have put together a more talented roster that may help them become one of the most improved teams in the league in 2018.,
What these comments from Jackson show more than anything else is that he has a clear understanding that there will be plenty of scrutiny on him to lead the franchise forward.
