With the Cleveland Browns firmly defeating the Miami Dolphins on Sunday in the NFL's Week 12 action, four-time Pro-Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry had a bit of fun at his former team's expense, scoring two touchdowns in the victory.

After the win, Landry reacted to the beat down on his former team, the Dolphins, where he spent the first four years of his professional career, calling his personal performance “extra.”

Per Andrew Gribble of the Browns on Twitter:

“It didn’t mean extra, but it was fun.”

Landry led the Browns in receiving yards on Sunday, catching 10 receptions for 148 yards and the two touchdowns scored. Landry, selected by the Dolphins in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, scored his first on Sunday in the opening quarter on a seven-yard pass from Cleveland quarterback Baker Mayfield and his second on a five-yard reception in the second quarter to round out two scores in one half.

Landry and teammate Odell Beckham Jr. both had touchdown receptions in the same game. The pair of stud wide outs were teammates together in college at LSU. Sunday's feat with both hauling in TD passes was the first instance since September 2013 when Beckham and Landry recorded receiving scores at LSU against Kent State, per NFL Research.

With the Browns' offense out of shape most of the 2019 season, it was either Landry or Beckham having solid games—never both at the same time, unlike today's win over the Dolphins. Miami had traded Landry prior to last season for fourth and seventh-round picks. Landry had an extra bit of revenge sprinkled into his performance in the 17-point win.
