The COVID-19 situation has been a big thorn in the side of the NFL. It's the biggest villain in the world right now, and the sports world is certainly not safe from its wrath. And it was for the same reason why the NFL had to flex three games in Week 15 to later dates than the original schedules of those corresponding matchups, including JC Tretter and the Cleveland Browns' game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Speaking of Tretter, the Browns center, who is used to blocking people on the field, arguably had just made his best block of the season, when he helped prevent the NFL's plan to cancel the three games that had been flexed, namely the aforementioned Raiders vs. Browns game, Washington Football Team vs. Philadelphia Eagles tilt, and the Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams meeting.

JC Tretter says the NFL wanted to cancel all 3 postponed games last week, which would have meant no players would have been paid. Tretter heads the players union and fought for postponement based on that, not competitive balance.

With Tretter and company blocking the NFL's cancellation plans for those games, football fans were able to witness a strange week unfold, with games played up to Tuesday.
