The NFL season is gradually nearing its end with Week 11 wrapping up on Monday night. Before glancing at what's ahead in Week 12, there were a few wide receivers who stood out in fantasy football in Week 11.

Among all wideouts, John Brown caught nine passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns en route to scoring 34.7 fantasy points on Sunday. Brown has been one of the most consistent options at wide receiver, totaling more than 10 points in nine out of his 10 games.

What's most impressive is that Brown is doing this in a Buffalo Bills offense that is centered around running the ball. Who are the wide receivers that should be in your lineups in the upcoming week?

All of the picks in this article are based on PPR (points per reception) scoring and can be used in season-long or DFS (daily fantasy sports) leagues. Without further ado, here are the wide receivers to start and sit in your fantasy football lineups in Week 12.

WRs to Start in Week 12

Falcons' Calvin Ridley (vs. Buccaneers): When the Atlanta Falcons decided to trade Mohamed Sanu, that opened up more chances for Calvin Ridley. With more opportunities, Ridley has combined for 49 fantasy points in the past three weeks.

The second-year wideout should be capable of continuing his momentum against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' decimated secondary. The Buccaneers have given up 2,022 yards and 17 touchdowns to opposing WRs (both are most in the NFL).

Browns' Jarvis Landry (vs. Dolphins): The Cleveland Browns finally seem to be getting into a rhythm on offense. One player who has reaped the benefits of the team's recent success is Jarvis Landry, who has caught a touchdown in three consecutive games.

This week, Landry will get an opportunity to face his former team in the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins have allowed 16 receiving touchdowns to WRs thus far (second-most in the NFL).

Bears' Allen Robinson (vs. Giants): Despite having Mitchell Trubisky as his quarterback, Allen Robinson has had a consistent target share this year. Through the first 11 weeks, Robinson has seen no fewer than five targets.

While it remains to be seen who is at quarterback for the Bears, at least Robinson doesn't have to face Jalen Ramsey again in Week 12. Robinson will square off against the New York Giants, who surrender an average of 41 points per game to opposing WRs (third-most in the NFL).

Other QBs to Start: Seahawks' D.K. Metcalf (vs. Eagles), Jets' Jamison Crowder (vs. Raiders), Raiders' Hunter Renfrow (vs. Jets), Panthers' D.J. Moore (vs. Saints)

WRs to Sit in Week 12

Cowboys' Michael Gallup (vs. Patriots): Michael Gallup has become the Dallas Cowboys' definitive No. 2 wide receiver alongside Amari Cooper. The second-year wide receiver has scored 17 or more fantasy points in two consecutive weeks.

While it's a positive sign to see him producing again, it's tough to trust him against the daunting defense of the New England Patriots. The Patriots have held opposing WRs to only one receiving touchdown (fewest in the NFL).

Giants' Darius Slayton (vs. Bears): The New York Giants' offense has been extremely inconsistent but one bright spot has been the play of Darius Slayton. The rookie wide receiver's last game involved him catching 10 passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns for a season-high 34.1 fantasy points.

Slayton will have a tough time repeating that performance against the Bears' stingy defense in Week 12. Chicago's defense has only given up four receiving touchdowns to WRs (tied for second-fewest in the NFL).

Ravens' Marquise Brown (vs. Rams): The Baltimore Ravens are a lethal rushing offense that is capable of throwing the ball when needed with Lamar Jackson. Among their wide receivers, Marquise Brown is by far the team's most reliable pass-catcher.

Unfortunately for Brown, he will likely see Jalen Ramsey for a decent portion of Week 12's contest versus the Los Angeles Rams. Over the past two weeks, Ramsey has held opposing team's No. 1 wideouts to a combined seven receptions for 59 yards and zero touchdowns.
