For the first time in a long while, the Cleveland Browns are playing a home game following a victory. And if Browns fans want their team to score a rare win streak this coming Sunday, Cleveland head coach Hue Jackson has one request for them: get loud.

 “Excited to play in front of our fans again, in front of our home crowd,” he said Wednesday. “They have been outstanding attending the game. I do have a challenge to them, though. I would like for them to get in the stands before the game starts, and I want them to be as loud as they have ever been.

Jackson probably doesn’t need to egg Browns fans to go wild in Week 6. Led by the Dawg Pound section of the FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland home fans are known for being boisterous regardless of what the Browns’ record is. So, considering that the Browns are 2-2-1 with a shot at going above .500 for the first time this season when they meet the Chargers, expect Browns fans to bring the house down by reaching multiple levels of decibels.

Beating the Chargers is a tall task for Cleveland, especially with Los Angeles quarterback Philip Rivers playing so well this season. Rivers has posted 1,495 yards and 13 touchdowns against the just two interceptions through the first five weeks of the 2018 NFL campaign. It’s unlikely for a seasoned veteran like Rivers to get bothered by noise in a hostile environment, but the Browns nation are still going to try to torment him with their noise.

The Browns are coming off a 12-9 overtime victory at home against the Baltimore Ravens.
