Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is in the middle of a power struggle with other owners in the National Football League. Due to that, there have been plenty of reports suggesting other owners are rallying around each other, planning a way to get Jones to forfeit the Cowboys.

Is Jerry Jones worried about that? Of course not. He's Jerry Jones. A man who giggles in the face of adversity while claiming a penny is actually valued at 400 dollars.

It is also worth noting that Jones says the league, nor any owners, hasn't contacted him in any way that suggests that people are going after his ownership position.

“I've had not one inkling of communication with the league office or any owner that would suggest something that laughable and ridiculous,” Jones said, according to Kate Hairopoulos of the Dallas Morning News.

The battle  Jones has waged with the NFL and its compensation committee over an extension for commissioner Roger Goodell is the foundation of this entire debacle. While it could be argued that Jones is only angry over the Goodell stuff due to his own interest, that is kind of the point in being an owner. His job isn't to worry about some random team in a different market.

“He has 18 months (left before the contract expires). We've got all the time in the world to extend him. We need to slow this train down,” Jones said, per Todd Archer of ESPN.

Does this mean we have 18 months left of this sort of stuff?
