Dallas Cowboys running back Alfred Morris doesn't want you bad mouthing quarterback Dak Prescott. In his opinion, the second-year talent is a great leader.
Granted, while these are easy to saw following a huge win over the Washington Redskins on Thursday Night Football, the sentiment should carry some weight.
“People were giving him crap about these last few games, throwing more picks than he did the whole season last year,” Alfred Morris said after the game, via PFT. “But it doesn’t faze him. He shows up to work every day like a pro. He carries himself like he’s been in the NFL for 10 years. People are drawn to that, like, ‘Man, this is a guy I should follow.'”
For those who did not watch the game, Dak Prescott appeared to be back to form. While he only hurled it around for 102 yards, he did toss two touchdowns and had zero turnovers. Plus, you know, on the back of a good performance by Morris, the Cowboys didn't need the young signal-caller to do a bunch of heavy lifting.

“We weren’t playing the blame game, it was just, ‘We’ve got to get this done,'” Morris said.
People often forget that Prescott is only in his second year in the National Football League. Following a stellar rookie campaign, folks expected him to be the reincarnation of John Elway — a sincerely unrealistic expectation for a second-year talent.
