The NFL world is paying respects to the now-retired Andrew Luck. From general managers to coaches to players, Luck has earned praise as one of the league's most respected figures. He was also a candidate to be MVP. Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott joins the bunch of giving admiration to one of the game's best quarterbacks
Prescott said on Sunday per USA Today's Jori Epstein:
Article Continues Below“I mean, hell of a player. Hell of a player and hell of a guy the little bit I know of him.Being able to talk to him a little bit before a game and share little things. Respect him so so much on the field, off the field. It’s his decision. Everyone’s entitled to that. I don’t think it’s fair for any of us to make any opinions on what he has going on.
Just know he was one of my favorite players to watch around the league and learn little things from, so I hate to see a great player like that leave the game, but like I said, don’t know the details, don’t want to speak on that. I’m not entitled to an opinion on that.”
Prescott only had the opportunity to face Luck once in the NFL. Luck and his Colts demolished the Cowboys 23-0 on December 16th of 2018, as he went 16-for-27 for 192 yards on the game.
It's clear that though Prescott never got a win against the talented quarterback, he joins the ranks of his peers that were in awe of his play.
